Our Process

Leahlani Skincare products are made fresh from high-performing organic, wild-crafted and local Hawaiian ingredients in small weekly batches at our Kaua’i studio.

As our fresh product ingredients arrive throughout the week, they are blended, poured and packaged within the same day. Nothing sits on our shelves for longer than a few weeks before shipping out to customers and retail partners around the globe.

By avoiding outsourcing entirely, we can personally ensure the quality, freshness and purity of every product that touches your sweet face.

Living and working in Hawaii offers constant reminders of Mother Nature’s abundance, beauty and fragility. We take our responsibility as temporary stewards of this precious place very seriously, and are always expanding our efforts to minimize Leahlani’s environmental impact.

The Leahlani HQ in Kaua’i is 100% solar-powered with energy-efficient hot water on demand. We keep our waste to a minimum with a strict “no toss” policy on the boxes and packing materials that come into the studio, repurposing most all of them to ship out our wholesale orders. 

All of the shipping cartons and packaging materials we use are recyclable, as well as our skincare bottles and jars. Those empty jars are also fabulous for upcycling projects – be sure to check out this post with some of our favorite ways to repurpose them in your home.
