Leah’s Ultimate Complexion-Clearing Skincare Ritual

This tropical cleansing oil gently nourishes and purifies, leaving your skin soft and supple without over-stripping moisture. Over-stripping can very quickly throw your complexion off balance, causing your skin to over-produce oil. Ditching conventional foaming cleansers and transitioning into cleansing with oils makes a huge difference for oily, congested and acne-prone skin types!

Both of our toning mists contain a pure aloe water base, which helps to moisturize the skin and facilitate healing. For skin with more redness that’s sensitive to the touch, use Bohemian Ruby to hydrate, balance and soothe. For skin that tends to be more oily with a dull tone, use Citrus + Citrine to hydrate, brighten and purify.

While your skin is still damp from toning, gently massage 1/2 pump of Aloha Ambrosia into the skin. Aloha Ambrosia works works beautifully on acne-prone skin, with a featherlight texture that gently moisturizes without sitting heavily on the skin. Aloha also helps even the skin tone and brighten the complexion! 

Double cleansing is a game-changer for all skin types, but it’s absolutely essential for oily, acne-prone skin. First, cleanse with Pamplemousse to melt away makeup, SPF and daily debris. Its active fruit enzymes will brighten the skin, while breaking down the proteins that can cause pore congestion. 

Follow up with a second cleanse using Kalima Cleansing Powder. Activate Kalima with water and massage evenly onto the skin. Let rest for 2-3 minutes to allow its water-activated Vitamin C to illuminate the skin while its softening clays help pull oils and impurities from within the pores. Rinse well with warm water. 

For sensitive skin that’s prone to redness and inflammation, use Happy Hour Serum to soothe, calm, and balance oil production. If your skin tends to be more on the oily side with a duller tone, use Siren Serum to help boost circulation, brighten tone, and enliven the complexion. Start with 1/2 pump, gently massaged into damp skin.

Honey Love is my ultimate holy grail for a clear, soft and vibrant complexion. Twice a week, skip Kalima and do your PM double cleanse with Honey Love instead. Stir well to activate the microdermabrasion crystals at the bottom of the jar and scoop a dollop into your fingertips. Massage very gently onto damp skin for 30-60 seconds, focusing on the T-Zone and the areas with the most congestion. If you have the time, let Honey Love rest on the skin for a minute or so before rinsing well with warm water. This will deeply moisturize the skin and help to reduce redness and irritation after exfoliating.

If your skin tends to be more oily, treat your skin to the Kokoleka Ritual Dessert Mask 1x a week to purify, reset, and detoxify. If your skin is on the drier side, treat your skin to the Mermaid Mask 2-3x a week to gently moisturize, purify and boost circulation.
