How to Recycle our Products

How to Recycle our Products

At Leahlani, we create skincare meant to nourish both your skin and the earth it comes from. Each jar, bottle, and box is designed with intention—and with your help, it can live on long after the last drop. Here’s how to recycle our packaging with ease:

YOUR RECYCLING STEPS

Empty & clean: Wipe out any remaining product with a towel or cloth.

Separate pieces: Remove pumps, sprayers, and rollerball tops; these are usually not recyclable curbside.

Recycle mindfully: Glass and paper are widely accepted. Plastics and small components vary—always check your local program.

HOW TO RECYCLE EACH ITEM

Glass jars & bottles:

Wipe clean and place in your glass bin.

Plastic bottles & jars:

Wipe, then recycle if your local program accepts them. (Check size restrictions—smaller jars are sometimes excluded.)

Pumps & sprayers:

Due to mixed materials, these usually go in the trash.

Rollerball tops:

Recycle stainless steel where accepted; glass vials are recyclable once clean.

Caps & lids:

Recycle by screwing them back onto their containers.

Paper boxes:

Flatten and recycle with cardboard or paper.

WHY IT MATTERS

Every jar and bottle carries the story of our islands and the ingredients they hold. By recycling, you help honor that story—keeping beauty in circulation and reducing what we take from the earth. It’s a small act of care, with a big impact.

In Hawaii, we call the time spent causally chatting with dear friends Talk Story. Sharing what’s new and being there for the things that matter most. We invite you to join the Leahlani community as we explore skincare and much more.
